Vinitor Is Back
New Billing System, a Fresh Design and Our Plans for the Future
Dear winegrowers,
You may have noticed: things have been quiet around Vinitor these past few months. As some of you are aware, we went through structural and organisational changes that meant we had to reorganise quite a bit internally.
Throughout this time, however, Vinitor never went away. The system kept running, your data stayed safe, and you could manage your vineyards as usual. We deliberately waived billing during this transitional phase — a small thank-you for your loyalty and patience.
Now the time has come: Vinitor is back — with a new billing system, a redesigned interface and lower prices.
The New Billing System
Stripe as Our Payment Partner
From now on, we process all payments through Stripe. Stripe is one of the world’s leading payment providers, used by companies such as Amazon, Google and Booking.com. For you, this means:
- Secure payment processing to the highest security standards
- Flexible payment methods – credit card, SEPA direct debit and more
- Full transparency over your invoices and payments
- Cancel any time – no notice period, effective immediately
30 Days Free for Existing Customers
As an existing customer, from 8 February 2026 you’ll receive a one-time 30-day free period to add your payment details to your Vinitor account. During this time, your access remains fully active — you can use Vinitor as usual.
Here’s how to set up your payment:

- Log in to Vinitor
- Go to Settings → Billing
- Click Add payment method
- Follow the instructions in the Stripe portal
Lower Prices
We’ve fundamentally reworked our pricing model — in favour of our customers.
The Key Changes
Basic modules now free User management and vineyard management (the field record book) are now completely free. This means you can keep using Vinitor even without a paid subscription — ideal if you only need the core features.
No more minimum amount The previous floor of €200 per year has been removed. This makes Vinitor significantly more attractive, especially for smaller businesses.
Simpler calculation The new pricing model is more transparent and easier to understand.
How Much Do You Save?
Depending on your business size and the modules you choose, you save between 10% and 26% compared to the old pricing model:
| Vine Area | Savings (all modules) |
|---|---|
| 5 ha | approx. 26% |
| 10 ha | approx. 24% |
| 20 ha | approx. 18% |
| 40+ ha | approx. 11% |
→ You’ll find all the details on the new pricing model in our separate blog post on pricing.
What’s Changed in the Design
Alongside the new billing system, we’ve also been working on the user interface. These changes are the first step of a broader modernisation that we’ll continue over the coming months.
New Registration
The registration process has been completely reworked. New users are now guided through a clear 6-step wizard:
- Business details
- Address (with a map preview)
- User account
- Vineyard area
- Module selection with a price preview
- Finish

Password Reset
A long-requested feature: you can now reset your password yourself if you ever forget it. Simply click “Forgot password” on the login page.

Improved Navigation
- Tooltips in the sidebar: When you collapse the sidebar, tooltips now show the names of the menu items
- Profile picture: Your profile picture is now shown in the sidebar
- Sticky header: Page headings stay visible while scrolling

New Billing Management
The new billing page gives you full control over your subscription:
- View your current subscription status
- Add or remove modules
- Manage payment methods
- Update billing details
- Cost preview for changes

What’s Coming Next
We’re actively working on several major improvements. Here’s a preview of what’s coming over the next few months:
New Task Management (in Development)
The current task system is often cumbersome — we’ve heard it from you, and experienced it ourselves. That’s why we’re building a completely new task management system:
- Kanban view with task workflows and status transitions
- Better overview of all vineyards at a glance
- Simplified operation – fewer clicks, more clarity
- Merging of the previous task table and task management
A first version will be available shortly. We look forward to your feedback!
Map-Centred Workflows
The overview map will move further into the spotlight going forward. Our goal: making more workflows accessible directly from the map. We’ve already created designs for a reworked map view.
GPS Improvements
We’re aware of two issues affecting some of you:
- GPS accuracy: Recorded positions sometimes deviate from the actual position
- Battery usage: GPS tracking can put significant strain on the battery
We’re working on solutions for both issues. We’d like your help: if you experience problems with GPS accuracy or battery usage, please let us know. The more we know about the specific situations, the better we can fix the problems.
More Planned Updates
- A redesign of the user page
- A redesign of the vineyard page
- Smaller improvements to the plant protection module
We Look Forward to Your Feedback

Thank You for Your Loyalty

Here’s to a successful 2026 season!
